Pamela Bartlett
Owner, Pinot’s Palette
Pamela Bartlett, who has lived in the Naperville area for over 25 years and loves painting and interacting with people, has found her perfect line of work as Pinot’s Palette’s Owner and Director of Fun since it opened in Naperville in December, 2013.
“I enjoy seeing our customers having a great time with family and friends and leaving happy with the masterpieces that they have created. I enjoy providing a fun, creative, upbeat atmosphere where our customers can unwind and relax,” said Bartlett, “It truly is a happy place where wine, painting and having fun is good for the soul!”
Every day Bartlett not only works as owner, marketer and operator of the paint and sip franchise, utilizing her networking, business management, people and leadership skills, but also gives back to the community. Pinot's Palette prides itself their "Painting it Forward" program supporting local and national charities. Charities raise funds by hosting fundraisers in the studio as well as receiving donations for free classes and paintings for their local fundraisers throughout the community.
Prior to owning Pinot’s Palette, Bartlett grew up as a military brat moving around up until her father retired in Colorado Springs when Bartlett was in high school. She studied Business Administration at National Business College in Colorado Springs and Colorado Christian University. After college she gained 25 years of experience working in a business environment with experience in marketing, sales, database management and social event management. Her last corporate position was as Director of Sales and Marketing Administration for a healthcare/medical bill review company. She also has held marketing and human resource positions at IBM, The Equitable, Kaman Sciences and Viant (now Multi-Plan).
In the short time since owning Pinot’s Palette, Bartlett has received a number of awards including Naperville Magazine’s Best of Naperville in the Entertainment Division, Glancer Magazine’s Reader's Choice Award for Customer Service, John Greene Realtor’s Circle of Friends award for 2015 Local Business Excellence, Pinot's Palette Smooth Strokes Award for a "smooth" grand opening and Golden Brush Award for top sales.
Bartlett joined the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and started attending Women in Business meetings in 2013. She immediately saw the benefits of networking and getting involved in the Naperville community. Her advice to other women in business: “Find something that you absolutely love, believe in yourself and follow your passion. Always be humble, generous and kind.”
When not working hard at Pinot's Palette franchise, Bartlett enjoys cooking, reading, bible study, workouts, traveling, volunteering and spending time with friends and family, including her 17-year-old son Derek and Labradoodle Rex.
